Short and sweet today!
I recently started using a website called Influenster (tagline: "turn your social influence into rewards"). Clearly, I have loads of social influence, so why not sign up?
After some time, I received my first VoxBox in the mail - basically they send you free stuff to review/use!
This first box was Rimmel's new Moisture Renew lipstick in the color "As You Want Victoria."
I opened the box to see a small tube of lipstick. I don't know what else I expected. When I removed the cap, my first thought was, whoa. That's bright.
And it is. The color of this lipstick is so vivid I didn't know if I'd even be able to put it on, let alone pull it off. But it went on like butter. So silky soft and creamy. The color is super bright, so I don't put a real thick layer of it on, but enough so you could definitely tell I was wearing lipstick.
But there's a downside to it going on so smoothly. It comes off just as smoothly. I found that it would wear off my lips so quickly that it started to look like I was wearing lip liner, not lipstick. No bueno.
I do enjoy wearing it though - that will not stop me. I get many compliments when I wear it, which is always a good boost to the self esteem.
